We believe that a solid education is a key element in social mobility. OUR C.O.O.L. PROGRAM
Doing What’s Needed
With school closures, the importance of continued learning for students remains, and our Center Of Online Learning (C.O.O.L.) can be a perfect hybrid between tutors and teachers to provide extra support for parents trying to normalize their children’s education. We have a diverse pool of volunteers that are available directly for one-on-one, and mini group tutoring!

Tackling the Issue
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and young girls leaving juvenile justice placement face many concerns as they reenter the community, home, and school/work force. Unfortunately, many youth return to unstable home settings, struggle to remain in school, and lack the skills needed for employment upon leaving secure care placement. Through R.E.A.C.H., we will decrease the odds of success for young girls reentering the community by fostering improved family relationships and functioning, reintegration into school, and mastery of independent life skills. We will aide in building resiliency and positive development to divert them from other problematic behaviors. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it.
PARENT SUPPORT SERVICES
The Village
Through our Parent Support Services, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Girls Saturday Academy Inc., and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. We provide parent support by providing specialized workshops, coaching, and family based needs including food and housing security.
